The spokesperson of the Nigerian police, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has revealed that the reason why the police officers tear-gassed some youths at the Lekki tollgate was because they were obstructing the flow of traffic.
He further stated that there was no use of baton or physical force on any of the youths, neither was there any record of gunshot against the protesting youths.
