The senior pastor of the Potters House Church, Dallas, USA sl¥mped during the live stream of one of the church’s services on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
The incident which caused a subtle p@nic in the church happened while the Bishop was saying a prayer on his seat. In the live video, he was seen sweating profusely and suddenly lost consciousness. His microphone dropped and both his arms were seen twitching.
It took a few seconds for his associates and his wife, Serita, to rally around him and pray for him.
The live video also shows that an ambulance arrived on the church grounds and is believed to be for the Bishop.
An official statement on Jake’s official X (Twitter) page read, “During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour long message. Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community.
Thank you for your understanding and continued prayers.”
