Man arrested for k#lling his 2-yr-old daughter and b¥rying her in shallow gr@ve in Adamawa

Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a 35-year-old man, Ayuba Danbaki, for allegedly k#lling his two-year-old daughter and b¥rying her in a shallow grave.

The suspect, a resident of Rigi, a community in Ga’anda District, Gombi LGA, allegedly m¥rdered his daughter after her mother took her to him at a local joint.

The mother of the baby, Shiyona Ali, 30, allegedly d¥mped the baby on the father at the local joint in the community where he was drinking beer, on the fateful night of the incident because she had become tired of her upkeep.

Witnesses said that Danbaki, who was angry with the action of his former wife and mother of the baby, took the baby into the bush, k#lled her by t¥ing her n£ck with a rop£, and then b¥ried her.

Confessing the crime at the Police Headquarters in Yola, the suspect said he was livid at how the mother of the baby d¥mped her on him at a local joint.

“I used a rop£ and ti£d her n£ck, dug a grave and b¥ried her. I am married and blessed with six children, including the deceased. I became angry with her mother’s action. It was a mistake.

I drink local beer known as “burukutu”. I want to use this opportunity to advise people not to drink beer because it is not good. It makes someone become us£less. In fact, a dr¥nk man sometimes def£cate in his trouser, vomit or fall on the ground. It makes you to do something and later regret it,” he said.
