A freelancer has recounted how some police officers extorted N100,000 from him after labeling him a yahoo boy because they said he couldn’t produce his identity card as a freelancer.
He narrated how he was stopped and searched by the officers before proceeding to take him to a police station where he was forced to transfer the money to a POS operator.
He raised an alarm after the incident and relevant authorities swung into action which helped recover all him money afterwards.
