The 91-year-old Emir of the Daura Emirate in Katsina State, Alhaji Faruk Umar Faruk, has married a 22-year-old girl, A’isha Yahuza Gona.
The wedding took place in Katsina State’s Safana town, according to a source.
The source speaking to Daily Trust, also revealed that the Emir and A’isha had just dated briefly for a week before they both tied the knot in a a low-key ceremony.
Recall that in December 2021, the Emir had wedded Aisha Iro Maikano, a 20-year-old girl.
