The Federal Government spent a whopping N118.37 billion on COVID-19-related expenses in 2020, the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, has said.
The minister said this while speaking at a virtual public presentation of the approved 2021 budget, on Tuesday, January 12.
According to her, a total of N10.08 trillion was spent on capital projects, debt servicing, payment of salaries and pensions, and other expenditures in 2020.
