Jealous Lagos banker allegedly brutalizes his wife for chatting with her male ex schoolmate

A Lagos based banker, Lawal Olarewaju Musharaf, has been accused of brutalizing his wife, Lawal Mariam, for chatting with her male ex schoolmate.

According to a source, the couple were returning from a visit, on Tuesday, December 15, when Mariam ran into her male ex schoolmate at a shop. They talked and exchanged pleasantries, after which the couple left.

However, on getting home, Musharaf who didn’t bother to find out who the guy was, allegedly pounced on her and beat her to a pulp.

The source added that this is not the first time, as Musharaf is fond of beating his wife at every slight provocation. [Swipe]
