Police operatives in Borno State have arrested two 18-year-old suspects, Ibrahim Abubako and Ibrahim Mohammed, for being in possession of 25 stolen phones.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Daso, the suspects were apprehended on December 10 while riding in a tricycle. They later confessed to snatching the phones from members of the public.
“Upon interrogation, the suspects confessed to snatching the phones from their owners in communities and villages along the Borno-Adamawa State border, which includes Mubi town, Tashan Alade, Miringa, Kwaya Kusar, and Biu Local Government Area,” the statement read.
