Public interest lawyer has criticized police authorities for allegedly extorting $3,000 from his client, urging officers to uphold higher standards.

He said the IRT in Guzampe, Abuja ext%rted his client of $3000, after they searched him and found nothing incriminating. They checked his wallet and told him to off the location on the phone before collecting the money from him.

This is not the first time this is happening to his client and he has always helped them in recovering their money. He has reported the matter to the commander of IRT and also he believed the for PRO, Mr Olumuyiwa will see this as he is always quick to defend his men.
