A man has revealed how some Nigerian students repaid their colleague who helped them to secure a job at a care home abroad.
This Nigerian guy(student) works in a care home. His closeness to his boss meant that he could recommend people for hire whenever there was an opening.
Out of the goodness of his heart, he decided to help a few other Nigerians get a job at the care home.
As the care home took in more workers, competition for hours arose, and those who had been with them company longer were favoured.
The Nigerians this student brought weren’t getting the hours they wanted, so they reported the student who helped them to management, stating that he does more hours than he should as a student. The guy’s shifts have now been cut down to ensure he doesn’t go beyond the 20 hours weekly that students are entitled to.
