President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday afternoon, January 9, summoned the Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo to the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock, Abuja.
According to TheNation, the minister was summoned to Aso Rock over payment of N438m as consultancy fee to a company linked to him by the suspended minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Betta Edu.
Betta was suspended from office by President Bola Tinubu on Monday, January 8, for financial irregularities and mismanagement of public funds.
