A Nigerian family is seeking for justice after their 10-years-old boy was p¥shed and repeatedly h#t by a member of staff at a north London primary school.
According to Victoria Azubuike on TikTok, she had gone to visit her Aunt when she realized the kids were at home and it was then she found out that the 10 years old boy was suspended after being dr+gged to the wall and p¥nched in the chest by a teacher for standing on the wrong stairs at Christ The King Catholic Primary School in Islington. She revealed that the family had to go to Acc#demt & Emergency (A&E) when the victim complained of chest p@ins following the alleged incident.
Islimgtom Council confirmed the incident on X (formerly Twitter): “We are aware of these reports and are taking them seriously. We’re working with the school to investigate.” The school confirmed a member of staff has been suspended.
The boy’s father told The Standard that told his son had been standing in a hallway inside the school, when the incident happened on November 10. “There was an incident that was happening in the playground involving another pupil getting into trouble, so he was looking at what was going on in the playground,” he said. He just noticed a strong push which took him off balance, and that push came from [a member of staff] – an adult.
He turned around and said ‘don’t touch me’ and then she pushed him again and then this time confined him to a space against a wall or frame or something, and started h#tting [him] back and forth – neck, chest area, and stuff. He was trying to fend her off to stop.”
The father said his son was initially suspended over the incident, but the suspension was later rescinded. A suspension letter given to the boy’s mother at pick-up time, and seen by The Standard, said the boy was suspended for three days “for an act of aggression towards a member of staff”
The letter, dated November 10, says the boy “inj¥red a member of staff today in the playground”. “He h#t her several times knocking off her glasses and breaking them. He also pulled a clump of her hair out. The member of staff required first aid and is very upset about the incident.”
