The lawmaker representing Ngala constituency in the Borno house of assembly, Bukar Abacha, has been thrown into mourning following the d£mise of his daughter, who was reportedly str@ngled to d£ath at her residence in Gidan Dembe area of Maiduguri.
According Zagazola Makama reportage, the lawmaker’s daughter’s body was found at her house with her legs and hands ti£d behind her back.
The publication said the husband of the victim took her corpse to the police station, adding that her two-year-old daughter was found crying beside her body.
Kamilu Sani, police spokesperson in the state, confirmed the incident to TheCable on Wednesday, October 18.
“We actually received a report on the k+lling, but whether it was g¥nmen that committed the culpable hom+cide or not is yet to be ascertained please.
The report we received was that the incident occurred at about 0700hrs.
The police have already commence a discreet investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the k+lling as well as arrest and bring the perpetrators to book,” the spokesperson said.
