A yet-to-be-identified elderly woman has been caught after she allegedly st%le a phone and N11,500.
The victim told the well-meaning passers-by who helped her capture the woman that they had alighted from the same public transport when the elderly woman asked her for directions to a certain health centre when she realised her money and phone were missing.
When the suspect was asked to speak, she said she has been accused wrongly as she only helped the victim so that a certain guy will not st£al from her.
The total st%len amount was recovered from her with the victim’s phone.
