He claimed that he really doesn’t meddle in his son’s personal matters, but then all of a sudden he learned that he had married a second woman.
He continued by saying that he had no prior knowledge of the second wife until his son revealed their relationship. Mary is also someone she loves because, in addition to being a good lady, her father and he were good friends.
He claimed that he will never forget the positive reception he received when he went to ask Mary’s family for their consent to marry his son.
By the end of the day, he came to the conclusion that Mary was a good person who she found to be intelligent and who also holds most credit for when the relationship between her and her husband is good; however, when the incident occurred, she was given bad advice by those who were advising her.
