A serial r+pist identified as Wilson Sunday has been arrested for allegedly d£filing 5 minors in the Yola North LGA of Adamawa State.
It was learnt that the minors s£x¥ally a§§aulted by Sunday were between the ages of 8 and 14.
The spokesperson for the Command, Suleiman Nguroje, in a statement on Thursday, said the suspect committed the crimes in 2023. He explained that the suspect disguised himself and lured the victims into uncompleted buildings, away from the eyes of the public and took advantage of them while they were on their way to school or returning from school. Thereafter, he would have carn@l knowledge of them.
He said, “Adamawa State Police Command, on 4/06/2023 apprehended a 35-year-old habitual r+pist for d£filing five (5) minors in the 8 – 14 age bracket in Bachure, Yola North Local Government Area.
