She explained what transpired between her and her husband to break their seven-month marriage. She claimed that although her husband first believed his secrecy was for their benefit, it was actually because he was cheating and kept a single status on his Facebook site despite being married.
She continued by saying that he constantly berated her appearance and made comparisons to his ex. Additionally, he advised her to always wear makeup when they went out because they might run into one of his ex-girlfriends. He didn’t want it to appear that he chose a lower class rather than an upgrade.
She also claimed that he never complimented her but would constantly speak negatively about his ex, which led him to confess to her one day that she must have lured him into marrying her and that her mother had earlier advised him not to wed a woman from Umuahia.
