A UK-based man has shared how his friend di£d after returning home to redeem her N5 million from a debtor.
He related an incident about a woman they helped move to the United Kingdom, even though he insisted she did so quickly. She became stranded in the UK as a result of her inability to collect money from an Abuja debtor. Later, she was given lodging by a Nigerian woman who was traveling without her husband but with her children.
She was instructed to pay with whatever resources she had, but it would be expensive. The cost of picking up the children from school and bringing them there was involved. She was at a l%ss, so she consented. She tried to get the debtor to pay her by calling, but nothing happened. He then suggested she sell her SUV so she could live more comfortably in the UK.
In addition, her sister was unable to sell the SUV as quickly as she would have liked, so she called her debtor and warned her that she would be coming for the money. Additionally, she was having trouble with her landlord since she wouldn’t let her use the heater, which is why she decided to spend the night with him.
To get her money and sell her automobile, she made travel arrangements to return to Nigeria.
