Activist creates awareness after 61 primary and secondary school students initi@ted themselves into a c¥lt in Delta State

A Delta State-based activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, on Wednesday has raised an alarm on a c¥lt initiation process in some secondary schools, known as the ‘snake b#te’.

It is reported that over 61 students taken from a private school identified as Divine Ambassadors Group of schools on 74 road in Asaba (primary and secondary), were caught allegedly initiating themselves into a secret c¥lt.

According to Gwamnishu, in order to join the the c¥lt, you will be initi@ted with a paper called ‘snake b#te‘. He noted for the initiation process to be successful, there has to be a inj¥ry else the process is repeated. After a student is initi@ted, he or she must initi@te another.

Also, there is an instruction that anyone who ins¥lts or b£ats an initiate must be reported to the group and they will organize ways to d£al with the person.

The group was exposed after a male teacher was almost b£aten by a 14-year-old girl. Gwamnishu noted that members of the c¥lt are between the ages of eight to fifteen years. He explained that c¥ltism is rapidly becoming a trend in high schools in Asaba.
