AMVCA9: Thespians, Olatayo Ijebu Amokade and Yetunde Bakare, give their 2 cents on the event

Thespians, Olatayo Ijebu Amokade and Yetunde Bakare, has given their 2 cents on the AMVCA9 event.

Olatayo Ijebu Amokad and Yetunde Bakare both stated their opinions about the recently held African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, claiming that some of the awards were based on emotive evaluations.

According to Ijebu, a group’s ability to benefit society ends the day it exhibits bias. It stops being beneficial the moment a group determines that the recipient of a prize should be the one with the most money.

Yetunde Bakare also said that although she had many reservations about the ceremony, she was shocked that Funke Akindele and Femi Adebayo did not take home the prize for which they were nominated.

However, they both wished the winner luck in their undertakings.
