A yet-to-identified mechanic has been hospitalized, with life thr€atening inj¥ries, after a police van r@mmed into his car in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
It was gathered that the police officers, who reportedly thought the mechanic was a yahoo boy, intentionally r@mmed into him in a bid to stop him.
According to eyewitnesses, the officers were chasing the car when they suddenly r@mmed into it from the front.
The unfortunate incident which occurred on Wednesday, May 17, also left the two vehicles dam@ged.
“The police thought the driver was a yahoo boy but it was actually a mechanic that was taking the car for repairs. The driver sustained life thr€atening inj¥ries and was rushed to hospital,” an eyewitness said.
