In Ibadan, Oyo State, residents protest over the scarcity of new Naira notes.
Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, was the scene of protests over the lack of fresh Naira notes. They protested in the streets about the lack of money in use. Since there were so many demonstrators on the highways, they were blocked and vehicle movement was restricted.
The demonstrators could be seen carrying tires while others sang and chanted for assistance. To stop the extreme protest and burning, the police have arrived, though.
