At least one person sustained g¥nshot inj¥ry during a protest over the new Naira notes and fuel scarcity in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
It was gathered that the protesters, who were in their numbers, took to the streets on Tuesday afternoon to express their plight over the state of the nation.
In videos obtained, some of the protesters could be seen thr%wing stones and b¥rning tyres on the streets.
According to reports, one of the protesters was hit by a stray b¥llet as police allegedly sh@@t to disperse the crowd.
The inj¥red man was captured running down the street with bl@@d gushing from his hand.
