Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested the two fleeing sons of Dr. Fred Ekpe Ayokhai, a senior lecturer with the department of History and International Studies at Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA), for brut@lizing a 20-year-old girl.
The suspects, identified as Bob Praise Ayokhai, 23, and Saint-Dan Ayokhai, 21, were arrested on Saturday afternoon, October 22.
This comes hours after the police arrested their father and sister, Emmanuella Onawegie, over the same d@stardly act.
Recall that Ayokhai and his entire family had stormed the home of 20-year-old Blessing Mathias to att@ck her for fi¥hting Emmanuel over a man.
They mercile$$ly brut@lized her using stick, wood and other w£apons. They also str¥ped her n@ked and abandoned her in a deep forest.
The police in a statement on Saturday evening said: “In continuation of the relentless pursuit of all suspects connected to the case of a$$ault that was captured in a video that has gone viral, be informed that the duo of Bob Praise Ayokhai 23yrs, a 300 level student of the Department of Microbiology, Federal University of Lafia and Saint-Dan Ayokhai, 21yrs old have been arrested for being parties to the commission of the d@stardly act.”
