Just In: Balogun market traders protest against their colleague over yearly fire incident

Two days after fire razed down a plaza in Balogun market, Lagos, hundreds of traders have staged a protest against their colleague, whose shop the fire emanated from.

The plaza had gone up in flames on Sunday morning, October 9, after it broke out from a fabric shop, owned by a woman.

Staging a protest on Tuesday, October 11, the traders claimed the fire incident happens every year and it always starts from the woman’s shop.
