Why you should stop critici§ing our leaders — Pastor Adeboye to Nigerians

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has urged Nigerians to stop critici§ing the country’s leaders.

Speaking while delivering a sermon on Sunday, October 2, the clergyman said instead of critici§ing the country’s leaders, Nigerians should pray for them for sustainable progress.

Adeboye, who took his sermon from a Bible passage, 1 Corinthians 7:13-14, said peace is the absence of w@r, the absence of storm, adding that perfect peace refers to one which is permanent, as “storms are in categories.”

He called on Nigerians to pray for their rulers and stop critici§m so that God would continue to guide them aright if they want peace and to be able to overcome the storm.

According to him, “In the olden days, except you are one of the special people, they don’t allow the king’s dress to touch you, but now kidn@ppers can go to the palace to kidn@p the king. We are in a w@r situation, let no one deceive you. What kings and soldiers can’t do, the almighty God will do for you.

God will heal the land and intervene in various issues affecting the country negatively and I want to urge the people to prepare to join me very soon for fasting and prayer for the country. Pray for the rulers, we have spent so much time critici§ing them. You should pray for them. I am praying for them, and I pray you will join me to pray.”
