An Ibadan-based Thrift collector, simply identified as Adesewa, has been apprehended after absconding with millions of Naira.
According to a source, Adesewa ran away despite calls by contributors for her to refund or remit their monies. However, she ran out of luck when one of the contributors after a thorough manhunt caught her in her hiding place and took her to the nearest police station.
In a voice note which has gone viral, one of the contributors said Adesewa fled with millions of Naira and used it to upgrade to a big girl status by buying an iPhone 13. Also, the contributor who caught up with her, was seen in a video expressing disappointment as to how a beautiful girl like Adesewa can be engaged in such.
