Just In: Several escaped Inmates from Kuje Prison Att@ck recaptured .

The Nigerian Correctional Services, NCS has successfully recaptured several Inmates that escaped during a terr@r att@ck on Kuje Prison.

Recall that hundreds of inmates escaped after gunmen suspected to be Ansaru terr@rists stormed the facility on Tuesday night with b@mbs and heavy gunfire.

Speaking on the matter, Defense Minister, Bashir Magashi, revealed that all Boko Haram Inmates at the facility escaped. Addressing newsmen after taking an assessment tour of the facility, the Minister said the att@ck started around 10:30pm with heavy g#nfireand expl@sions.

It is reported that over 879 inmates escaped while over 443 inmates have been recaptured. According to reports, the VVIPs including Abba Kyari, are in custody as none of them escaped. The Nigerian correctional service noted that manhunt for the rest of the fleeing inmates is still ongoing.
