Why a 53-yr-old woman was str#pped n@ked, st@ned and almost ly#ched in Mushin, Lagos — Police

A police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has explained how a 53-yr-old woman almost lynched to death  by a mob in Mushin area of Lagos State, because of an unfounded allegation.

According to him, the woman was accused of making a child disappear by touching the infant, which led to the mob stripping her naked and they started lynching her, before the police arrived at the scene to control the situation. After further investigation by the police it was discovered that the accused against the woman was unfounded and proven to be false.
