43-yr-old man arrested for allegedly r#ping an 80-yr-old woman in Nasarawa, blames the Devil

The Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested one Dan’asabe Eddo, 43, for allegedly r#ping an 80-year-old woman in Kundami Village, Garaku area of the state.

The suspect was arrested on January 14, 2022, after he broke into the victim’s home and forcefully had canal knowledge of her. The victim, it was gathered, lives alone in the same village.

The command’s spokesperson, ASP Ramhan Nansel, in a statement on Sunday, January 16, said, “Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted to the commission of the offence and blamed it on handiworks of the devil.”
