A 24-year-old man, simply identified as Ejiofor, has escaped being lynched by an angry mob, after he was allegedly caught stealing a plasma TV in Wumba village, Abuja.
According to report, Ejiofor had walked into the home of one Mrs Comfort Daniel, to remove her TV set. He allegedly told the woman’s 12-year-old son that he was sent by her to take the TV for repairs.
He, however, ran out of luck, when Mrs Comfort walked in on him and raised an alarm.
He was subsequently caught and beating him to a pulp, by angry youths, who later hanged him over to the police.
