A middle-aged motorcycle rider, identified as Biola, is dead after being beaten by police officers in the Bornphoto area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
It was gathered that the deceased was heading to the hospital to pick his wife, yesterday, August 26th,2020, when he was accosted by the bribe-seeking police officers .
“The officers demanded for N50 and when Biola told them he didn’t have to give to them , they hit him with their rifle and beat him mercilessly
When they noticed he was unconscious, the officers ran away and by the time we rushed him to the hospital , he had died .
