Tongues wag as Popular Islam cleric, Sheikh Habeebullah Adam Al-Ilory, reveals what will happen to those that use Satellite dish

In a fiery sermon that has stirred reactions across Nigeria’s Muslim community, Sheikh Habeebullah Adam Al-Ilory, the Mudir of Markaz Agege, issued a stern warning against the use of satellite television, describing it as a pathway to h+ll because it is a grievous sin.

Speaking passionately during his address, Sheikh Habeebullah declared, “Whoever uses a satellite dish or installs a satellite dish in the house will not enter Al Jannah when they d+e because it’s a haram. It’s a written law.”

To buttress his sermon, the cleric went on to show written documents about the ills of using a satellite dish as a Muslim faithful.

The statement has since gone viral, drawing both strong support and criticism. While some applaud the Sheikh’s commitment to moral discipline, others question the practicality of rejecting technology entirely in an interconnected world.

Sheikh Habeebullah, son of the renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Adam Abdullah Al-Ilory, continues to lead Markaz Agege as a beacon of Islamic education and conservatism in Nigeria.
