Shock as viral video of singer Asake’s alleged father emerges; claims the singer abandoned him
A viral video circulating online shows a man who identifies himself as the father of popular Afrobeats singer Asake, pleading for help and accusing the artist of abandoning him.
“I am Asake’s father. I gave birth to him. I gave birth to Asake, Ahmed, the singer. Babatunde Ololade Odunsin Mr Money. Since I had stroke I haven’t seen him. The last time I saw him was March 29, 2022. He doesn’t pick my calls when I call him. Please I only need your help,” Mr. Fatai Odunsin stated.
Asake, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, has risen to fame in the Afrobeats scene and is widely known to have been raised by a single mother.
He rarely speaks about his father in interviews and has yet to respond to the viral video as of the time this report was filed.
