NDLEA Nabs Businessman Smuggling C@c+ine in Vehicle Propellers at Lagos Airport

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA), have arrested a 42-year-old businessman identified as Okeke Ebuka Igwe with two parcels if 1.10kg of ill#cit dr¥g

This was revealed in a signed statement by the agency’s Director, Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Igwe, an auto spare parts dealer, had concealed the parcels of c@caine in vehicle propellers enroute Angola through the export shed of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Ikeja Lagos.

His plans was thwarted by NDLEA operatives who arrested him on Monday 24th February following credible intelligence.

During an interview with the suspect, he claimed that he is a businessman selling auto parts in ASPANDA, Trade Fair Complex, Ojo area of Lagos.
