The Registrar of Wigwe University identified as Ulonna Inyama has d#ed in the FCT, Abuja due to complications from fibroid s¥gery and alleged wrong bl%od transfusion.
According to Vanguard, a family source said Inyama died on Monday, July 29, 2024. She was initially admitted to a hospital in Abuja for fibroid treatment but suffered a f@tal reaction after receiving the wrong bl%od type.
“She d#ed of loss of bl%od due to fibroid complications under mysterious circumstances. We were told that the wrong bl%od transfusion led to her d£ath.
When her condition worsened due to complications, she was referred to another hospital, where she passed on,” the source said.
The family has demanded an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Inyama’s d£ath.
Inyama’s d£ath comes at a time when the university community is still reeling from the l@ss of its founder and now faces another devastating blow with the loss of its Registrar.
