Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have b¥rsted a pre-wedding dr¥g party in a community known as Shola quarters in Katsina state.
This was revealed in a signed statement by the agency’s Director, Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
The NDLEA officers had acted on intelligence as they disrupted the pre-wedding ceremony dr¥g ab¥s£ competition.
They arrested 25 youths participating in the drug party. Operatives swooped on the suspects while they were busy taking turns ab¥sing all sorts of ill#citsubstances including a mixture of multiple dr¥gs mixed in a plastic bucket.
Though the groom identified as Musa Gwandi who organized the dr¥g party along with his friends was not at the venue at the time the 25 others were arrested, he was however nabbed on Sunday, December 3, 2023, following a manh¥nt for him.
