A suspected criminal has been apprehended while posing as a PHCN official in an attempt to raid a private residence.
A Nigerian lady who shared the story online said the man dressed in the full regalia of a PHCN official and asked that he be allowed into the premises to do check their meter. When asked about his other colleagues, he said they were on their way.
The owner of the house and her husband raised an alarm when they saw he couldn’t do the job of a PHCN official and didn’t come with a ladder. When he was searched, a matchete and three hammers were found on him.
