A Lady has recounted the chilling details of how she was r%bbed by 7 arm£d men, s+x¥ally hara§§ed by one of them, and her bank accounts ‘swept clean’ during her youth service corps year in Oyo State.
She said she was r%bbed on the 11th of September, 2022. On this day she didn’t go to her PPA, she went to the market to buy some food ingredients and on her return, she began cooking. After cooking and eating and slept off.
At about 1am she began hearing voice at her window. She immediately ran to her toilet and locked it. The r%bbers gain entry and started raiding the room and her kitchen, they wanted entering the toilet, that was when they discovered she was in there. They threatened to br£ak the door so she came out and was begging them.
One of them looked her l¥stfully and approached as he began to touch her, later another came and dr@g her asking her to unlock her phone.
After this they went to other apartment in the building. When they were gone, they all stayed together because everyone was afraid to stay alone. They place a call to the police, the army and amotekun. They all came and did not pursue after the r%bbers.
In the morning, the police told them to write a statement, which they did, she immediately ran to her banked but on getting there are accounts had been emptied. She wanted retrieving her phones, they police demanded N50,000 for it to be done. This was how she forgot about it.
