Columbian serial k#ller, Luis Garavito, who rap£d, tort¥red, m¥tilated and k#lled over 190 boys and young men is up for parole this year after serving three-fifths of his sentence.
The m¥rd£rer also called La Bestia meaning ‘The B£ast’ has the highest number of victims among serial k#llers in the world.
Garavito originally confessed to m¥rd£ring 140 boys – since proven to be 193 victims in total – between six and sixteen years old, from 1992 to 1999. He is suspected of m¥rd£ring over 300 victims. He mostly rap£d and tort¥r£d street children. By posing as a monk or priest he would lure children with offers of money or drink.

Garavito experienced psych@sis, paranoia and depre§§ion and sought psych#atric help on several occasions.
Investigations into the m¥rd£r began when authorities discovered a mass gr@ve over 35 children. Almost all of them were boys and had with signs of binding, s+x¥al a§§ault, and prolonged tort¥r£.
Police initially suspected the k#llings were done by a Sat@nic c¥lt or an international child-trafficking ring due to the br¥tal#ty.
Garavito fell asleep at one m¥rd£r scene with a cigarette in hand that l#t the field on fir£. He b¥rnt himself and left behind his money, b¥rnt glasses, shorts, shoes, and underwear.
Detectives then began to suspect Garavito and contacted his girlfriend who had not seen him for months. She turned over a black suitcase he had left to her which contained pictures of young boys, detailed journals of his m¥rd£rs, and tally marks of his victims. [continue reading on next slide]
