American actor Kevin Spacey has been found not guilty of s+xually a§§aulting four men by a jury at Southwark Crown Court in London, U.K.
The 63-year-old had denied nine charges including s+xual a§§ault, which were alleged to have been committed between 2001 and 2013.
The Hollywood star had denied seven counts of s+xual a§§ault, one count of causing a person to engage in s+xual activity without consent and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative s+xual activity without consent.
The Oscar award winning actor had tears in his eyes as the jury cleared him of all nine offences on Wednesday, July 26.
Independent reports that jurors rejected the prosecution’s claims that Spacey had “aggressively” gr@bbed three men by the cr%tch and had performed a s+x act on another man while he was asleep in his flat.
During the trial, one complainant alleged the actor “aggressively” gr@bbed his cr%tch while he drove him to a lavish showbiz party hosted by Sir Elton John in the early 2000s.
Jurors were told Spacey allegedly gr@bbed another man’s cr%tch “like a cobra” after meeting him at a West End theatre in the mid-2000s following an alleged “barr@ge of vil£ comments”.
The defendant was also accused of having had a “p@nicked” look on his face after a third man rejected an alleged s+xual grab at an expensive property he was staying at in the Cotswolds in the early 2010s.
An aspiring actor told the court of an alleged incident in the late 2000s where “things went further” – claiming he woke up to find Spacey performing a s+x act on him.
