Police operatives in Anambra State have arrested a houseboy who allegedly h@cked his boss to d£ath in Akwa, the state’s capital.
The deceased, a lecturer at the Psychology Department at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, identified as Chima Anolue, was att@cked and k#lled by his help on Friday night, July 14, 2023.
It was gathered that trouble started after Chima confronted the help for being lackadaisical. A fi¥gt br%ke out and the help allegedly used a p£stle to h#t Chioma’s head repeatedly, leading to his d£ath.
He was apprehended by the local security who handed him over to the police.
Speaking in a video shortly after he was apprehended, the suspect said: “When he came back, he told me to cook rice. And as I was cooking the rice, he asked me why I did not wash plates. I did not reply. He then asked why I wasn’t responding to his question.
In the process, he sl@pped me. But I told him I usually have ear problems, and that people don’t sl@p me. As I was saying that, he angrily asked if I was still talking while he was talking. And therefore, he sl@pped me again and brought out c@ne and started fl%gging me all over.
Then in the process, I got angry, and we started fi¥hting. It was also in the process of that fi¥ht that I picked up the p£stle in the kitchen and h#t him on the head.”
