Police operatives in Delhi, India have arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly st@bbing his girlfriend, identified simply as Sakshi, 16, to d£ath.
The suspect, identified as Sahil, was said to have att@cked and st@bbed the deceased more than 20 times on Sunday night, May 28.
After stabbing the girl, the suspect k+cked her several times and then picked up a cem£nt block and bl¥dg£oned her. This happened even as locals and residents passed through the lane several times.
India Times reports that the tragic incident occurred in the Shahbad Dairy area of Delhi.
A CCTV footage of the incident shows the accused constantly h#tting the girl. In the video, it can be seen that a few seconds later, after taking a pause, he returns and picks up a cem£nt block to b@tter her.
According to the report, Police stated that they received a call almost 30-35 minutes after the incid£nt.
Ravi Kumar Singh, DCP, Outer North said, “The b£at staff received an information about the m¥rder of a 16-year old girl identified as Sakshi around 9.30pm on Sunday.
A team of police reached the location to enquire the matter. The victim was found d£ad on the street. Later, it came to fore that she was coming from another lane when Sahil intercepted her and st@bbed her multiple times”.
Singh further added that Sahil and Sakshi were in a relationship but had a quarrel on Sunday.
“The deceased was going for her friend’s son’s birthday party when Sahil saw her and st@bbed her multiple times and h#t her with a stone.
