President Buhari and president-elect, Tinubu, attended Jumaat Prayers together at the State House, Abuja.
General Mohammed Buhari, the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the president-elect, both attended Jumaat prayers on Friday at the State House in Abuja.
He was accompanied by Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, as well as his personal and security assistants.
Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the majority leader in the House of Representatives, and Abubakar Malami, the minister of justice, were present for the jumat. The two units of prayers were conducted by the chief imam of the State House Mosque, Ustadh Abdul-Wahid Suleiman.
Among the other government representatives present are the National Security Adviser, retired Major General Babagana Munguno, and Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar, Director General of the National Intelligence Agency.
