28-yr-old Nigerian businessman di£s due to alleged negligence at a hospital in India

A 28-year-old Nigerian businessman, Chukwudi Innocent Okpalanwaobi, has di£d due to alleged negligence at a hospital in New Delhi, India.

It was gathered that the Anambra State born di£d on Friday morning, March 24, a week after he had a leg surgery.

According to a source, “He went for leg surgery on March 9 at Airmid hospital here in New Delhi. He was asked to go home and come back after seven days, which he did. They removed the pipe that was fixed in his leg and told him to go that everything is fine.

Yesterday, he was rushed to another hospital where the doctor confirmed that he wasn’t properly taken care of, that the hospital was supposed to visit him every two days to check the operated leg. They never told him that, instead he was the one going to the hospital by himself and in the proceed, he caught an infection which eventually led to his d£ath. He di£d this morning.

Some Africans living in New Delhi are at the hospital right now, his body is yet to be deposited at the mortuary.”
