APC’s Dikko Umar-Radda declared as Katsina governor-elect after polling 859,892 votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda, as the winner of the Saturday, March 18 governorship election.

Announcing the result on Sunday, March 19, the Returning Officer for the state gubernatorial election, Prof. Ma’azu Abubakar Gusau, said Umar-Radda polled 859,892 votes to win the election.

Yakubu Lado-Danmarke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came second with 486,620 votes.
