Residents have raised an alarm over the maltr£atment and st@rvation of an 8-months-old baby girl by her biological mom in Warri, Delta State.
The woman, a mother-of-four and full time house wife, identified simply as Blessing, is accused of st@rving the baby so that she can use her to solicit for money from the public.
According to a source, “She has four kids, the two older ones have been taken by other people. The last two are girls aged two and 8-months-old.
The two years old goes to anywhere she likes. There is literally no one looking after her, while the 8-months-old is being st@rved.
The baby is bony due to severe starv@tion and negligence. This woman will leave this baby for hours, go to where ever she want to go and come back anytime. This baby will cry for hours none stop.
I spoke with her husband this morning. He said he is tired, that he told her to take the baby to the hospital but she refused. He said he even bought some medications for the baby but the mother refused to give it to her, instead she threw it away.
The man is like a sl@ve in his own house, she uses him like a house help. He wanted to even cry as I was talking to him this morning.
The worst part is that the woman has no remorse whatsoever. She fi¥hts and ins¥lts anyone who confronts her over the kids. And we just discovered that she is purposely st@rving the baby because she uses her to beg for money.
She goes about showing the baby to people and telling them that she is sick and her husband ran away. From what we heard, a lot of people have been given her money. She usually hold the bag of the money, while another woman carries the baby.“
