New Naira Notes Scarcity: Protest rocks Sango-Ota, Ogun State

The new Naira note shortage has sparked protests in Sango-Ora, Ogun State.

Residents of Sango-Ora, Ogun State, took to the streets to express their dissatisfaction as they protested the new Naira note scarcity.

Due to the country’s challenging transactional environment, new notes have been scarcer than usual. The Central Bank of Nigeria, however, has declared that old Naira notes are no longer accepted as legal money.
