Hoodlums set abl@ze INEC office in Imo, abd¥ct construction workers

Hoodlums has set abl@ze an office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Orlu LGA of Imo State.

The hoodlums who att@cked the building undergoing renovation on Thursday, December 1, also abd¥cted some construction workers who were later rescued.

INEC’s Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Imo State, Prof. Sylvia Agu, confirmed the att@ck in a statement on Friday, December 2.

“The incident occurred on Thursday, 1st December, 2022. The building, which is undergoing extensive renovation following an earlier att@ck, was vandalised and partially set ablaze. Three out of seven construction workers were abducted but later released.

The dam@ge would have been more extensive but for the quick response of the Nigeria Police which has deployed its personnel to the site. This is one att@ck too many,” he said.
