Senators from the opposition parties have given President Muhammadu Buhari six weeks ultimatum to address the rising insecurity in the country or face impeachment.
This was made known by the Minority Leader of the Senate, Phillip Aduda, at the National Assembly in Abuja, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Mr Aduda disclosed that the opposition senators have agreed to commence the impeachment proceedings against the president should he fail to address the insecurity within the period given by the lawmakers.
